YEAST


Aim: to look at how yeast is used in food 

Equipment 

  • Spoons​
  • Kettle
  • Bowl
  • Beaker
  • Cloth Sieve 
  • Funnel
  • Plastic (PET) bottle and cap.


MATERIALS 




50ml warn water 

1/2 tsp active dried yeast 

1/2 tsp suger


Gineer beer 


3/4 cup suger 

1/2 tsp cream of tartaer 

1Lcold water

juice of 1/2 lemon 

1 tsp ginger beer   



METHMOD 


1. in a large bowl , put the suger and crem of tarta add the water .


2. sir to dissolve the suger  beforn adding the water 


3. add the ginger beer bug to the laeger bowl  of clod water 


4. sir well and then pour into your clen bolittert 


5. leber your blotiet with your gopur name 


6. place all the boliet in the class conaterin 


7. soter in a cool dirk palce for one week before  dinking 


8 make sure you open the boite in the kkithn sink as it mgthi  overflow open the cap bit by bit to allow the air to esccpe 



  • The ginger beer must be drunk over the 6 days
  • You must provide your own bottle.



We wanted to see how yeart was best actibed to do this we uesd 3 conlecal flask a tsp of YEART in each one same wram watre in eah one and suger in one fask we put a balloon on top of the fask we fuond out the fask that had the YAERT and called cardon dioxivd gas  




GOINGER BEER 


Today we put sugar in the red cup and but YEAST in
 and  more soo we are wiaing for to to be reay
